Welcome to the Derick Kirk Foundation

The mission of the Derick Kirk Foundation, Inc.
is to support and fund music education and development in grades
kindergarten through 12. The Foundation was created in 2007 when
noted musician Derick Kirk succumbed to a rare form of cancer
that same year at the age of 28. Derick was working on his Masters
in Music at Marshall University at the time of his death. Today,
his spirit continues through the ongoing work of the 501.c.3
charity.

Thanks for visiting derickkirk.org. This
organization was created in memory of Derick Kirk, who passed from
us on July 25, 2007. He was only 28 years old, but his musical legacy
will live on as we honor his memory by helping young
musicians develop their talents.
